The unusual problem is reminiscent of the hundreds of years of attempts to prove Fermat's conjecture (see picture, the french Mathematician Pierre de Fermat). During the centuries the world was convinced that there must be a solution! The solution was finally found in 1994 and it required about 100 pages.
