There is even a longer epigramm CXV(115) which characterizes the man more specifically.-(s.text)
Is there any reason why academic research has never tried to interprete this poem and identifiy the Poet "so good a fame. ..suffers no name" and to develeop a coherent theory for the 4 epigrams XXX, XVIII, LXXVII, CXV - in which Jonson explicitly declares that he will not disclose a specific person, except under specific circumstances?
From virtually every single line you may extract some (hidden) information leading to the assumption that "The Town's Honest Man" was the Poet Genius "Shake-speare" .(...not to be confused with the Stratford business man) .-
